Prodigium Reforged modpack Minecraft server

Prodigium Reforged is a Terraria-inspired RPG pack for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge. Its CurseForge page describes a boss-driven progression with no automation or tech, class gear and skill trees, 39 bosses with treasure bags, and NPCs that move into your base. You install the server from the Modpacks tab, using the pack's own server files.

Checked against Prodigium Reforged 4.2.0423 (the CurseForge file dated 26 September 2026) on Forge 47.4.0 and Minecraft 1.20.1, October 2026.

What the pack needs

• Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.0. variables.txt in the server pack names both, and the panel runs them on Java 17.
• Memory. CurseForge gives no figure. variables.txt sets -Xmx4G -Xms4G for the pack's own start scripts, but the panel sizes the heap from your plan, so that setting never applies. How much RAM a Minecraft server needs covers the choice of plan.
• Disk space. About 766 MB to download and about 1 GB unpacked, with both on your plan's disk during the unpack.
• Version for players. Players must run the version your server installs, which was 4.2.0423 when checked.

Install the server

Press the CurseForge button in the row of sources in the Modpacks search card, search for Prodigium Reforged and press Install on Prodigium Reforged. The popup names Forge and Minecraft 1.20.1. For the version list, the backup and the EULA box, see Install a CurseForge modpack. Then press Start on the Console and wait for For help, type.

The CurseForge file you are installing is the dedicated server pack, so no mods are fetched one by one. The pack ships no Forge files of its own, so the install reads variables.txt and sets Forge up itself.

Settings the pack ships

Prodigium Reforged's server pack carries a server.properties with difficulty=hard, max-players=20 and view-distance=8. In the Config Editor, Difficulty and View distance (chunks) are listed, and Player slots sets the player limit. The install leaves the pack's file in place unless the popup offers Keep my world, settings and player lists and you tick it, and the panel writes a basic one only when a pack ships none, so check the values after the install.

Common problems

• A player is refused on join. Their Prodigium Reforged version must match the server's, on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge. If it does, compare their mod list with the server's mods folder.
• The server crashes at boot. The crash report points at the mod involved: find and read a crash report.
