Runs the servers, the 3am alarms and support
Two people in Australia, some very hardworking hardware, and a stubborn belief that you shouldn’t need a wiki open to run a game server. We built the whole thing ourselves, which means there is nobody else to blame: if it falls over at 2am, one of us is awake for it, and when you email support, one of us is the one typing back.
The two people who build it, run it and answer your emails.
Play Your Way started in 2026 with one server for us and a handful of friends. The server was the easy part. Everything around it belonged to somebody else: their machine, their control panel, and a support queue that answered in three business days with an article we’d already read.
So we built our own: dedicated hardware and a panel we wrote from scratch. It’s why your least technical friend can drive it, why the plans have no asterisks, and why support is answered by the two people who wrote the software.
It’s still just the two of us, and the reason hasn’t changed: we wanted a host we’d happily put our own friends on. They’re still on it, and they’d absolutely tell us if it were no good.
