All the Mods 9 modpack Minecraft server

All the Mods 9 (ATM9) is a Forge modpack from the ATMTeam for Minecraft 1.20.1. Its CurseForge page says it has over 400 mods, countless quests and a built-in endgame, and asks whether you can craft the ATM Star. You install the server from the Modpacks tab, using the pack's own server files from CurseForge.

Checked against All the Mods 9 1.1.1 (the CurseForge file dated 12 October 2025) and its server files, on Forge 47.4.0 and Minecraft 1.20.1, October 2026.

What the pack needs

• Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.0. The server files carry that Forge installer, and their start script names the same build. Java 17 is the one it needs, and the panel selects it.
• Memory. The CurseForge page names no figure. In user_jvm_args.txt the pack asks for -Xms4G and -Xmx8G and calls 4 GB "a good default for a modded server", while the panel sizes the heap from your plan's RAM. How much RAM a Minecraft server needs covers the choice. The mods folder holds 418 jar files, plus one more that ships switched off as .jar.DISABLED.
• Disk space. The server files download at about 1.1 GB and unpack to about 1.3 GB, so allow about 2.4 GB free during the install.
• Players. The server installs 1.1.1, and players should run that version in the CurseForge app.

Install the server files

Press the CurseForge chip above the search box and search for All the Mods 9. Press Install on All the Mods 9 - ATM9. The same results list close relatives such as All the Mods 9 - No Frills and All the Mods 9 - To the Sky - atm9sky, which are separate packs, so check the name. The popup names Forge and Minecraft 1.20.1. The version list, the backup and the EULA tick work as in Install a CurseForge modpack.

The server files sit inside one folder in the download, named for the version. The install moves them up to the server's root, then runs the Forge installer the pack ships. Then press Start on the Console and wait for For help, type.

Settings to set yourself

The pack's start script writes a server.properties on a fresh server with allow-flight=true, motd=All the Mods 9 and max-tick-time=180000. The panel does not run that script and the server files carry no server.properties, so set these yourself in the Config Editor and restart:

• Allow flight under Gameplay.
• Watchdog timeout (ms) under Performance.
• Server list message under World.

Common problems

• A player cannot get in. The usual mix-up is the wrong pack: they need All the Mods 9 1.1.1 on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge, not No Frills or To The Sky.
• You want to report a pack bug. The pack's issue tracker is its GitHub repository. If the server crashes at boot first, the crash report names the mod: find and read a crash report.
