How much RAM does Better MC need on a server?

Better MC runs on Forge 1.20.1. We recommend 8 GB RAM for a small group - modded packs are RAM-hungry, and 6 GB is the practical floor. The recommended plan beside this page is sized for it. Players join from Minecraft: Java Edition, since Bedrock players can't join a modded Java server.

How do I install Better MC?

Can I add mods or switch packs later?
