Integrated MC is an exploration modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge. Its CurseForge page describes dungeons and structures built to work with the modded blocks and loot, a quest line that rewards exploring, and Sinytra Connector so some Fabric mods run on Forge. You install the server from the Modpacks tab, using the pack's own server files.
Checked against Integrated MC 1.6.8 (CurseForge file dated 14 April 2026) on Forge 47.4.0 and Minecraft 1.20.1, October 2026.
What the pack needs
- Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.0. The server files name that Forge build in their
variables.txt. The panel runs 1.20.1 on Java 17 and picks it for you. - Memory. The pack's page says server hosts should allocate 1 GB per active player and no less than 4 GB. Your plan sets the RAM, so read how much RAM a Minecraft server needs and check the Minecraft plans before you install.
- Disk space. The server files are a download of about 946 MB and unpack to about 1.05 GB. The download sits on your plan's disk while it unpacks, so you need room for both.
- The same pack version for players. Players should install Integrated MC 1.6.8 from the CurseForge app.
Install the server
On the CurseForge chip in Modpacks, search for Integrated MC and press Install on Integrated MC by CraisinLord. The search also lists separate packs with similar names, such as Chosen's Create: Integrated (by ChosenArchitect), so check the author. The window names Forge and Minecraft 1.20.1. Everything else in it is covered in Install a CurseForge modpack.
The server files hold the mods and configs but no Forge. When the panel finds no launcher in the files, it reads variables.txt and installs the loader named there, so for 1.6.8 it sets up Forge 47.4.0. A newer file, 1.6.9, was at the top of the version menu when this was checked, and it installs Forge 47.4.28 instead. Check which file the menu has selected before you hold the button, because this guide and the player version it names are for 1.6.8.
Before players arrive
The pack's own README.txt lists three important notes. The pack has many world-generation mods, so it recommends pre-generating the world before anyone plays. It says to set view distance and simulation distance between 6 and 12, and to lower simulation distance to 3 or 4 if the server peaks in RAM or CPU. It also sends crashes and bugs to the pack's Discord. Do the first two once the server has started and made its world.
- Pre-generate. The server files include Chunky. Chunky's wiki says its default selection is a square in the overworld, centered on 0, 0, with a radius of 500 blocks. With the server running, run
chunky radius 1000in the Console to widen it to 1000 blocks, thenchunky start.chunky progressshows how far it has got. Pre-generate a world with Chunky covers radius and timing. - Distances. Open the Config Editor, then set View distance (chunks) and Simulation distance (chunks) under Performance. The pack ships both at 10. Save and restart.
Common problems
- A player cannot join. Check they run Integrated MC 1.6.8 on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge, then compare their mod list with the server's
modsfolder. - The server crashes at boot. Find and read a crash report shows how to name the mod at fault. The pack's
README.txtpoints to its Discord for crash help.
