Enshrouded PS5 server hosting in North America

Yes, PS5 players can join an Enshrouded dedicated server, and Play Your Way hosts them in Dallas, Texas for North America. You order a PlayStation 5 server, your group joins it from their PS5, and the world stays online when everyone logs off. Here's what your group needs, what PlayStation Plus and no crossplay mean, how to join and what it costs.

Can PS5 players join an Enshrouded dedicated server?

Yes. PS5 dedicated servers arrived with Enshrouded 1.0 on 15 October 2026, so advice written before then that PS5 players can't use a dedicated server is out of date. Our Enshrouded servers aren't PC only: you choose PC (Steam) or PlayStation 5 when you order, and a PS5 server is ready for PS5 players from its first start, so there's nothing for you to set up.

You don't need a PC either. The server runs on our hardware, not on anyone's console, and you run it from the dashboard in any web browser, including the one on your phone.

What your group needs

• A PlayStation 5 server. On our Enshrouded page, choose PlayStation 5 under Where do your players play?, pick a plan, and pick Dallas as the server location in the cart.
• PlayStation Plus for every player. Sony asks for it to play online, and the lowest tier, PlayStation Plus Essential, is enough. Without it the game says you don't have permission to use online features.
• The latest version of Enshrouded on each PS5, so the game matches the server.

No crossplay: one platform per server

Enshrouded 1.0 has no crossplay. A PS5 server takes PS5 players only, and a PC (Steam) server takes Steam players only. If your group is split between PS5 and PC, the two halves can't share a world, so pick the platform everyone plays on, or run a server for each.

What it costs

PS5 plans cost the same as the PC ones. Prices are the regular monthly price in US dollars, before any first-month offer shown on the game page.

Paying for longer cycles costs less per month, and the game page shows each saving. We never charge per player: your plan sets how many can be on at once, and 16 is the most Enshrouded allows. To fit more friends later, move to a bigger plan and restart the server. Your world comes with you.

Every plan includes one-click backups, join and admin passwords made for you, and DDoS protection.

Where the server is, and your ping

North American servers run on dedicated machines in Dallas, Texas. Measured from data center to data center, Dallas is about 17 ms from Atlanta, 23 ms from Chicago, 31 ms from Los Angeles, 37 ms from New York and 50 ms from Seattle; your own connection adds to that. Enshrouded is co-op, so your whole group shares the one server: pick the location nearest most of you. Dallas ping by city has the full table.

How your friends join

1. On their PS5, they start Enshrouded and choose Play, then Join Game.
2. They search for your server's name, or join with its address: the IP and port shown on your dashboard.
3. They pick your server and type the join password.

Press Copy invite in your dashboard's left rail to copy the server name and the join password in one message for your group chat. Join with the admin password yourself: the game's first quest asks you to place a Flame Altar, and only the Admin role can.

How a PS5 server differs from a PC one

It's the same Enshrouded server, with the same passwords and roles, player caps, backups and Server Settings tab. Two things differ:

• It takes PS5 players only, as above.
• It has no SFTP access, to keep the PS5 sign-in safe. In the File Manager tab you can still change your world (the savegame folder), enshrouded_server.json and the logs folder.
